This was hit and miss, the food was nice but very salty, we don't have low tolerances to salt. The atmosphere was nice and had so much potential. It was clean. The service was slow, sporadic and not friendly, we felt tolerated and ignored in the corner. From the moment we walked in someone pointed across the room to where the table was to taking 30 minutes to come to our table to take our drinks order; having to ask for table water and some cutlery; not remembering what the drinks were when they came to the table. The food came out in a timely way so their kitchen worked well. Nice but we won't be going back

Our visit to The Kennington Tavern was to celebrate a special occasion, and we were delighted to find that you were able to accommodate our large group with ease. Despite the size of our party and the variety of dietary preferences and restrictions, your team handled our table with grace and efficiency, ensuring that each member of our group felt welcomed and well-catered to. As a vegan, I often find it challenging to dine out at restaurants that can accommodate my dietary needs without compromising on flavour. The pizza was delicious and the staff ensured my meal was made without any animal products. I was thoroughly impressed by the selection and quality of vegan options available at The Kennington Tavern.
